Fiona is something SPECIAL! She has beautiful blue eyes. Her unique personality sets her above the pack. She is the ultimate alpha and is VERY protective of her territory. She does best with a strong female owner but once she gets used to a man she is fine with them, but she gets aggressive when strangers (anyone new to her is a stranger..even if you know them) come into the home OR on the property. She will get VERY agrressive towards whomever she feels is an intruder She makes a great guard dog. We do not recommend her for a home with small children, dogs, cats or small animals.She does do well with most submissive male dogs but they must be around her size. I really would not recommend her for a multi-dog home as she is selective about her canine companions. The right owner and alot of training would be necessary for her to fit into normal life. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on shots prior to adoption and are socialized daily by staff and volunteers.
